A wish for 2019 to Ride Equal | An invitation to equality on the roads by Bajaj Avenger

In the 21st century, we have progressed a great deal in our conquest for equality among men and women. There’s still a long way to go, but we are taking baby steps every day. Bajaj Avenger recently launched a campaign called A Wish for 2019 to propel the cause. The initiative also goes by Ride Equal.

The initiative puts the view forward that female bike riders should not be made susceptible to stereotypical judgments. The short film emphasizes that the roads extend a similar welcome to all genders. It further challenges the idea that women should refrain from following their innate sense of adventure.

The short does so by taking its viewers through the journey of a female bike rider. The adroitly worded narration in the background takes the storytelling to another level. The visuals present themselves in perfect synchronization with the commentary and add another layer of elegance to the message of the campaign.

We feel that this campaign by Bajaj Avenger has opened the doors to a new era for cruise-bike riders. The empowering tone of the short film is its biggest strength.
