Nicorette Breathe Again

Nicorette’s Breathe Again is a story about Karen who after being disallowed by parents to not take up running and after having had to go through tough childhood days, decided to be a rebel by taking up smoking. However, that decision only made things worse. She could run miles during her childhood but the smoke filled her lungs so much so that she couldn’t run effortlessly for a few metres. She couldn’t leave smoking and smoking did not leave her. She continued to smoke for 25 years. After more than two decades she knew that something is wrong. She knew that this is not what she had wanted. She knew that it’s still not too late. And that’s when began a new journey for Karen. A new Karen was born.

She decided to take to running, something she has always loved the most. But for that to happen she very well knew that she had to quit smoking. She knew that to run and climb the mountain ahead she needs to first knock down the big hurdle of smoke that was keeping her from realising her dreams. She had two choices, she chose freedom. And now, after 25 years, she is back into the sport she has always wanted to be in. She inspires others to run as a teacher. We believe it’s a great story well shot showing the transformational journey of Karen from addiction to cigarettes to getting addicted to her sport.
