Pepsi & Burger King presents Grilled Barcode

Pepsi and Burger King were together again for launching their new campaign with Sancho BBDO as their ally agency. These brands reminded all Colombians that a grilled burger is better by using the similarity between barcode and grills and creating a filter that turned Pepsi’s barcode into grills.

After using the filter on the bottles, people got coupons to be redeemed at Burger King restaurants. The Grilled Barcode campaign had a spot where people could see the fire getting out from the bar codes while grilling delicious meat. Additionally, the campaign was launched through digital media with different ads explaining the idea and inviting people to grill their meat with Pepsi. The campaign also had the support of influencers who invited their followers to try this filter for getting the burger.
 

 
Pepsi and Burger King highlighted their attributes, joined the On and Off worlds, and made people interact with their products with this simple but direct idea.
