What happens when a music experience takes away the performance and leaves only the listening?
BREATH ALONE, presented by REBOO and produced by PINPIN STUDIO, brings 20 people into the same space to listen to one complete album from beginning to end, in complete silence. The three-day experience will take place from October 10 to October 12, 2026, at SKAC, or SKWAT KAMEARI ART CENTRE, in Kameari, Tokyo.
It is not a live performance or a DJ event. Instead, the format is built around listening as the main experience.
A Music Experience Built Around Listening
BREATH ALONE brings 20 participants together in one space, but the experience remains deliberately individual. Everyone listens to the same album while staying within their own space, creating what the press release describes as a state of being alone without being lonely.
Visitors remove their shoes before entering the listening space. Inside, the room is dark and quiet, with oversized cushions and pillows where guests can choose their own spot.
One complete album is played through a sound system built specifically for the event. The albums are selected around the theme “music that rests the brain”. Each session is planned for approximately 60 minutes, although the actual duration varies according to the album.
Where REBOO Meets Music and Breathing
REBOO is an aromatic breathing tool developed by BREATHER Inc. Inspired by the traditional Thai inhaler known as “Yadom”, it combines scent with deep breathing. The name REBOO comes from “REBOOT” and “BOOST”.
BREATH ALONE extends this product experience into a shared environment.
The event introduces “Breath Detox”, with breathing becoming part of the listening format alongside music and scent. REBOO is used to support the breathing experience, connecting the product’s individual use with a collective setting.
The campaign therefore does not rely on a conventional product demonstration. Instead, REBOO becomes part of the environment in which the audience spends time listening.
Eight Creators Curate the Albums
The music selection is built around the theme “music that rests the brain”.
TaiTan and Shuhei Tamaki, hosts of the podcast KiKi KaiKai, are among the selectors. They are joined by Yuhei Kanbe and Arata Takahata, hosts of WaiWai Radio and members of the creative collective PERIMETRON.
The additional selectors are Jeter (PeterParker69), Sora Hokimoto of Bialystocks, Shohei Takagi of cero and Hiroshi Fujiwara.
Rather than building a playlist of individual tracks, each session centres on one complete album. The approach gives the audience time to stay with a single piece of music from its opening track through to the end.
Selected curators will also appear as guests on TBS Radio’s “Noto”, where they will discuss the albums they have chosen.
A Walk-In Option for Visitors
Not everyone needs a reservation to encounter BREATH ALONE.
The WALK-IN Area is a curtained-off zone within the same space. Visitors can hear the ambient sound coming from the main listening area without booking a session. Entry is free, although access may be restricted during busy periods.
For those who want the complete experience, the Reserved Area offers one album session for approximately 60 minutes. Each session is limited to 20 participants and includes one REBOO. Admission is ¥1,500 per session, with advance reservation required.
Three Days at SKAC in Tokyo
BREATH ALONE will take place at SKAC, SKWAT KAMEARI ART CENTRE, located at 3-26-4 Nishi-Kameari, Katsushika-ku, Tokyo.
The event runs from Saturday, October 10 through Monday, October 12, 2026, from 11:00 to 19:00. The venue is approximately 15 minutes on foot from Kameari Station on the JR Joban Line or Ayase Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line and JR Joban Line.
Ticket sales started on September 16, 2026, at 12:00 JST.
BREATH ALONE keeps its format simple: 20 people, one complete album, a quiet room and no conversation. Music, scent and deep breathing are brought together within a setting created specifically for listening.
