Global Citizen India launches “Shuruaat Hoon Main” featuring Aamir Khan
Global Citizen India, a social action platform today launched its campaign video “Shuruaat Hoon Main” featuring Aamir Khan, ambassador for Global Citizen India as the narrator of the impactful monologue. Inspired by Gandhiji’s philosophy “Be the change that you wish to see in the world”, the campaign video touches upon the accountability of every one of us to spark the flame of change and write a new history.
Shot against a monochrome backdrop, the video speaks about how India will cease discussions and start taking action through conviction and determination because as young people of the world, the change should begin with us, where millions will then follow. The star encourages the youth of the country to be the change they want to see and take up actions that shapes society. The campaign video also showcases how the youth can awaken hopes and change mindsets by influencing world leaders and decision makers to decree policy changes and commit significant resources to help solve some of the India’s biggest challenges.
The Global Citizen India platform encourages young Indians to amplify their voice through action journey’s, several of which are driven through social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook and online petitions.
