Re-route Billboard by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of Korea & Naver App
Re-route Billboard – A simple way to prevent accidents
Drivers speeding around school zones in Korea became a serious national issue. Even lawmakers have passed an unprecedented law that punishes drivers up to a life sentence when they accidentally kill children. However, we’ve learned that almost all modern drivers use navigations when driving. So Hongik University decided to create Re-route Billboard, a billboard with multiple used smartphones with the navigation app on when kids go in and out of the school. The billboard will develop artificial traffic, signal all the navigation systems to reroute vehicles to avoid the roads around schools.
