Skaters Rights – Vans Campaign for Skateboarders’ rights which are often taken lightly

Skateboarding will soon be an official Olympic sport, but skateboarders are still not taken seriously by the public. Skateboarders are not treated like athletes. People and security guards often get too violent with the skateboarders to stop them from skating. To remind skateboarders of their rights, Vans transformed every right shoe of their Vans pro classic into a reminder for Skaters Rights, including Civil rights and how to face the police. These rights are essential for the liberty of Skateboarders and getting them the same treatment as professional athletes.
