Camry is known for being reliable, but not necessarily exciting. To change this perception, we built a giant roller coaster and took a few hundred unsuspecting people through it in regular stock Camrys that were driven by stunt drivers. For those who couldn’t attend the two-day event, we created two digital experiences. The first was an immersive 360-degree street view web banner where people could experience the entire track. We also created a multi-cam experience of the ride that used YouTube annotation to seamlessly switch between eight different POVs.
