And one of the first things that come to mind as we speak about VR is escape room games. They’re also quite popular especially among our millennials who spend hours finding clues in escaping rooms. It’s these great immersive and engaging factors that inspired <a href="http://www.sonypictures.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Sony Pictures Entertainment</a> (SPE) to come up with their movie – “Escape Room”. And to promote Escape Room, SPE partnered with VR/AR ad platform OmniVirt and creative agencies Pretty Big Monster &amp; Stradella Road for a 360-degree online interactive advertising campaign.</p>

<p>We believe that SPE cleverly married the plot of its movie- Escape Room ¬ to the online game-cum-campaign and made the users get a first-hand immersive experience of what and how the movie’s going to be like! The online campaign gives the user an interactive 360-degree immersive experience into the world of the movie – Escape Room. The user needs to explore one room after another for clues to the next room just like from the movie. The user can only unlock the door to the next room by finding the clues. To further incentivize the experience for the user, upon successfully completing the challenge, the user will stand a chance to win an all- expenses paid trip to Los Angeles and win $1 million USD. You can take the challenge until 31st January 2019. Only US residents of age 13 and above are eligible for this sweepstake. Others can nevertheless enjoy the game!</p>
