Extinction Rebellion has relaunched a short animated film entitled Climate Crisis, and Why…

Extinction Rebellion has relaunched a short animated film entitled Climate Crisis, and Why We Should Panic. Written, directed and animated by Miritte Ben Yitzchak and voiced by British actress Keira Knightley, it urges us all to Act Now before it is too late.

The animated short Climate Crisis, and Why We Should Panic, is the second of a two-part explainer video series for Extinction Rebellion, focusing on the climate and ecological crisis. Voiced by Keira Knightley, it explains what’s causing climate change, why governments must enter crisis mode to tackle this issue, and what will happen if we don’t do something about it now.

It follows the first part – Extinction Emergency, and Why We Must Act Now – which focuses on the ecological crisis. Voiced by Naomie Harris and scored by Brian Eno, it summarises the planet’s biodiversity loss, runaway consumerism and the ecological crisis that now faces us, and how the consequences will affect millions of lives around the world.

Followfood – In Your Hands shows the contrast between a sad planet, created…

Followfood – In Your Hands shows the contrast between a sad planet, created by bad decisions, and a more hopeful world that’s the result of humankind changing consumption habits for sustainable choices. Le Cube wanted to avoid clichéd portraits of waste and animal cruelty, instead focusing on elegant design and fluid animation.

“We saw the food consumption awareness here at Le Cube transform drastically in the last years, as the eating habits had changed for myself and several colleagues by adopting veganism, vegetarianism or just by searching for local organic grow food instead of industrial. This was a big motivator for us to engage in this project” explains the executive producer Juan Manuel Freire.

After all, industrial food production keeps growing and presenting challenges that the market can’t seem to beat. That’s why the film focuses on the impact of this behaviour and what it means for the future of our planet.

“The message is universal but also something people choose to ignore. What we consume should be picked carefully and with awareness of the trail our food leaves behind it” explains Ralph Karam, the project’s creative director of animation, “the film also has a turning point, a moment where humans realise their mistakes and make a change for the better. This brings a different feel to the animation, with the whole world jumping on board just like the choir joins the song”.

“It was a challenge to not end showing cliché portraits of waste and animal cruelty since they are always so powerful. At Le Cube we have an obsession for elegant designs and fluid movements, so, for this project we work hard to find a way to generate anxiety and an uncomfortable feeling in the watcher portraying a sad world but with special designs, with uniqueness and solid aesthetic.” explains Santiago Oddis, creative director at LeCube.

‘You’ve got the whole world in your hands’, sings the hauntingly beautiful version of the popular song, reminding us that consumers have the power to change all this in their collective hands, something the film shows in its sensible but powerful visual story.

Samsung is the official sponsor of the Tel Aviv Marathon* – Israel’s biggest…

Samsung is the official sponsor of the Tel Aviv Marathon* – Israel’s biggest sports event of the year. It has been for a number of years and true to a tradition started in 2017 with the Samsung Gaming Marathon, it has decided to use that occasion to do good. So this year it is launching the Samsung Calories Marathon: A marathon where the more calories you burn, the more food products Samsung donates on your behalf to the needy.

Working together with the “Pitchon Lev” soup kitchen* –the country’s largest soup kitchen which services over 250.000 Israelis each year with food products and basic needs – Samsung has pledged to match each calorie burnt with a similar calorie-rich food product it will donate on runners’ behalf to the organization.

So if you take into account that a normal person weighing 75 kilograms would probably complete the 42-kilometre marathon in just under four hours – we’re talking about burning close to 4000 calories multiplied by at least 40.000 participants – that’s the rough equivalent of 320.000 meals!

How will Samsung manage it? Well, runners will be outfitted with a special calorie counting band and to show people at all times how many calories have already been raised and burnt, the company will set up a live calorie counter on Rabin Square – Tel Aviv’s central square right opposite the town hall. On Marathon day, runners crossing the finish line will be directed to a branded compound where besides getting a personal video of their run – they will be invited to choose the food products that match the number of calories they burned and compile the food package that will be donated on their behalf.

But that’s not all. To amplify Samsung’s effort, the company will be setting up Samsung Calories Stations at high traffic density spots and shopping malls throughout the country– where people will be invited to run on treadmills and add their burnt calories to the general ‘burnt calories’ count. An activity that will allow people to donate their calories once, twice or more.

The way we see it, the Samsung Calories Marathon means one thing: Run. Burn. Feed. Repeat.

Apple’s Share your gifts campaign celebrates the spirit of creative geniuses in each…

Apple’s Share your gifts campaign celebrates the spirit of creative geniuses in each one of us and urges all to bring that creative side out for the world to see! We think that this animated version is in itself a beautiful ode to the inner potential within each of us. It tells the story of a young skilled woman (and everyone is skilled in one thing or the other, you just need to find out!) who shies away from showcasing her creativity until she can’t.

The song is equally beautiful, and it’s written by Billie Eilish, a 16-year-old singer and songwriter who tapped into relative notes and words to come up with this original background song that plays along in the video. It’s called Come Out and Play. Just for your information, here’s a little of who Billie Eilish is. She began writing original lyrics and creating her own musical notes from the age of 11. She gave her first popular hit when she was 15. Apple launched this Share your gifts film in collaboration with Billie’s exclusive recital and one of its brilliant illustrators at Apple’s Third Street Promenade store situated in Santa Monica, California.

We believe that by not really revealing the girl’s creative genius and by keeping it a mystery, it urges everyone to tap into their hidden creative sides to realize their true self and potential.

Watch KFC Big Chicken Small Movie by Wieden+Kennedy. It’s the best movie about a 56-ft steel chicken attached to a KFC that will come out this year.

The new animated short film, Big Chicken Small Movie, is designed to celebrate the Georgia town and its giant steel chicken. From the beginning, the intention was to make the short film as Atlanta-focused as possible. Awesome Inc, is an Atlanta-based studio known for both its series and commercial work. The project debuted on Sunday, August 6th, which was National Friendship Day.

Anthony Gianino, KFC franchisee owner and VP of marketing for KBP Foods, the film marks the culmination of an exciting project. The beloved “Big Chicken” KFC restaurant reopened to the public May 11 following a $2.2 million renovation.

“I think every Atlantan has a tender spot for that giant bird, so it was an honor to try to do it proud. Also, I’m excited to show all my friends from high school that I made it to the top–even if it’s just the top of the Big Chicken,” said W+K copywriter Mike Egan, who was born and raised in Atlanta.

Paper Boat Drinks new film, executed in the 3D Animation format takes imagination…

Paper Boat Drinks new film, executed in the 3D Animation format takes imagination to the next level by representing a little paper boat as a beacon of hope.

In the advertisement of Paper Boat Drinks, a little paper boat represents consciousness and hope. A captain of a ship makes a little paper boat and sends it to partake its journey. It shows how one should just keep moving towards their aspirations and goals. Thus, the boat seems to be taking a journey towards its final destination and in the end, it reaches the destination.

The advertisement is very inspiring.

A story of hope and dreams
● The boat is shown to fight all adversities during its journey.
● The encounter with a mouse, bus and even natural calamities like rain and heavy winds is also shown
● At the same time, there is a dog that protects it from sudden rain which represents how with every bad encounter, you also have a good one to neutralize it.
● Eventually, the boat flies with the wind and reaches its destination

It is a representation of how every individual undertakes his/her journey and experiences several good and bad incidents during the process. But eventually, there is only one thing that keeps us all moving forward and that is hope. A hope that we will reach our destination and our dreams will come true.

Paper Boat presents Hope, the Boat

Having paper boat drinks is like taking a walk down the memory lane with its taste of real fruits. The memories that become hazy in the process of getting closer to your dreams and aspirations. We need to remember that it is the journey that is more important because it gives us the experience to shape us as individuals.
