Countless Black women have been victims of police violence and the only way to remember their names, is to never stop saying them. Or seeing them. Her Street is a movement to rename the exact street where these atrocities took place, after the women themselves. Miami Ad School honor the women by making them a landmark you cannot look away from and have streets become rallying cries for justice.
This was created as a part of the One Club Mentor & Creative Program at Wieden+Kennedy NY.

Burger King presents The Social Distancing Whopper. In Italy, the time of total…

Burger King presents The Social Distancing Whopper.

In Italy, the time of total confinement has ended, and we are now entering ‘Phase 2’ where we are finally free to go around. The rules are more transparent than they were a few weeks ago: wear a face mask, gloves and, above all, “let’s all keep a distance of one meter.”

With all this happening, Wunderman Thompson Italia and Burger King® Italia have decided to opt-out of traditional types of communication, and to launch a new, truly unique burger.

We are introducing the Social Distancing Whopper, the famous Whopper® now with far more onions to promote social distancing in true BK style. Available in all Italian Burger King restaurants via drive-through King Drives®, take-away services and eat-in.

Women’s Horlicks with its new campaign urges women to invest in their physical…

Women’s Horlicks with its new campaign urges women to invest in their physical strength with Stories of Strength #StandStrong

Women are known always known for their mental/emotional strength for being the backbone of the family, but rarely for their physical strength. Women’s Horlicks wanted to break this very notion through its latest campaign, ‘Stories of Strength’. The campaign celebrates women who dared to follow their unconventional dreams and showed the world that they are not just mentally but physically strong too. The campaign also urges strong women to take care the very thing that makes them strong from within: their bones. The brand firmly believes that if women become as strong in mind as they are in mind, they can go out and conquer whatever they set their eyes on. Bone health is extremely important, as every 1 out of 2 Indian women are at a risk of low bone mineral density (BMD) which can lead to osteoporosis.

Adding more depth to the ‘Stand Strong’ narrative and to celebrate and support physical strength amongst women, Women’s Horlicks collaborated with:
– Dr. Seema Rao – India’s first women commando trainer
– Ratna Singh – India’s first female naturalist
– Uma Das – India’s first woman Dhaki player

These women explain the challenges and difficulties they faced in their unique career choices along with the physical and mental strength it required to fulfil their dreams.

With this campaign, Women’s Horlicks empowers women to breakdown the misconception that women can’t be not physically strong. It also aims to engage, encourage and equip women with the physical strength that is needed to follow their passions.

Women’s Horlicks encouraged women to write their own stories of strength and share them at #StandStrong. Physical strength is displayed by women in various facets of life. But it is not talked about, not encouraged or celebrated. Now it is time we celebrate their stories of physical strength too.

Uma Das

Meet Uma Das as Women’s Horlicks traces her journey of becoming India’s first woman Dhaaki. Listen to her #StoryOfStrength on how she broke age old conventions and followed her heart. She is now an inspiration for many women who want to follow her footsteps.

Ratna Singh

Meet Ratna Singh as Women’s Horlicks traces her journey of becoming India’s first woman naturalist. Listen to her #StoryOfStrength on how she not only beat 500 applicants to get her dream job but also is on the path of teaching and encouraging tribal women to become independent.

Dr. Seema Rao

Meet Dr. Seema Rao as Women’s Horlicks traces her journey of becoming India’s first and only woman commando trainer. Listen to her #StoryOfStrength on how she prepares others for putting up a fight. She wants women to find their inner strength and be self sufficient in life both physically and mentally.

Women worldwide are usually less inclined to make exercise or workout a daily…

Women worldwide are usually less inclined to make exercise or workout a daily routine as compared to men around the world. In fact, the numbers slide down further when we look at the statistics of women from BAME category or those who are working on low salaries. Sport England’s recent survey shows that around 36% of South Asian women, 29.4 % black women, and 25.3% white British women are lethargic, further stating that they don’t even exercise for at least 30 minutes per week. Sport England hopes to bring about a paradigm shift in the minds of these women with #FitGotReal, its latest in This Girl Can campaign which was launched 3 years back in 2015. After having, all these years, inspired over 3 million women to be active and energetic, Fit Got Real is back to empower women to take up exercise in their homes, in their kitchens or while watching TV; thus proving that exercise need not happen in the gyms but it can happen wherever you are.

The spot shows visual stories of women across varied age groups and ethnic identities finding their own way to workout and inspiring others to find theirs. So you can run around a garden while also giving your baby-in-the-pram a fun ride (but not too hasty), go hula hooping while cooking, and so on. The underlying message is clear – no exercise is unusual or unorthodox, just do it.

A part of the survey also states that women who fall into the lower salary rung are two times more likely to be lethargic than women who fall into the comparatively higher rungs of senior management or alike. These women also seem to undergo a blend of emotional pressures who are further demotivated when the media and TV portray exercise as a pricey commodity of sorts only to be enjoyed by those who can afford access to gyms, wear costly sports wears and so on. However, Sport England wants to help these women change their lifestyle by kicking inequality out and bringing exercise into their lives. And it doesn’t require one to shell out huge money or put on branded sports wears or go to gyms. All you need is an iron will.

Caroline, 36, who stars in the new film, comments: “As a full-time carer I rarely have time to myself and am often under a lot of pressure both emotionally and physically. At the end of the day, I always felt I was either too tired, didn’t have enough time or wasn’t motivated enough to exercise. But, one day I realised how important it was (for my mental and physical health) to spend some time on myself and, with the help of my friends and support groups in the community, I could see a way out! Rather than spending half an hour watching TV, I now get out to a dance class or over to the trampoline classes at the local community centre. With added daily pressures of work and family commitments, I completely understand how easy it is to get into a routine of not doing much exercise, but I feel so much happier and healthier from being more active. Even it’s a quick run up and down the garden it’s better than nothing!”

About Sport England
Sport England is a public body and invests up to £300 million National Lottery and government money each year in projects and programmes that help people get active and play sport. It wants everyone in England, regardless of age, background, or level of ability, to feel able to engage in sport and physical activity. That’s why a lot of its work is specifically focused on helping people who do no, or very little, physical activity and groups who are typically less active – like women, disabled people and people on lower incomes.

About This Girl Can
Since 2015, Sport England has been working to address the significant gender gap found in sports and exercise, to build women’s confidence around being active, and help them meet the Chief Medical Officers’ guidance. The campaign was based on the insight that 75% of women say they want to do more sporting activities or exercise, but one of the unifying barriers found to be holding them back is a fear of judgment. This Girl Can’s objective is to encourage women to engage in physical activity regardless of shape, size, age or ability. This Girl Can ‘Fit Got Real’ campaign was launched in response to women feeling that conventional exercise doesn’t represent them or their lives.

Partners supporting the campaign
There are a huge number of partners helping to support the campaign. From grassroots sports clubs and groups to County Sports Partnerships (CSPs) to many of the National Governing Bodies such as British Cycling and England Athletics as well as bodies such as Public Health England. They are supporting the campaign in many ways such as sharing the campaign with their audience to help create a huge ripple effect on launch as well as creating “on the ground” opportunities and experiences within their areas and sectors to help encourage women into regular exercise.

In November last year, Booking.com – the global leader in accommodation and travel…

In November last year, Booking.com – the global leader in accommodation and travel bookings – released a competition inviting entries from tourists to share their stories if they had ever been helped by a hotel professional in their journeys. To their surprise, lot of entries came in and this week, they released the winners with the help of three video spots documenting the experiences of the tourists and their #BookingHero.

Each story talks about how a professional took extra pain and trouble to make the lives of their guests easier and help them in trying times. The three films were shot with real characters who narrated their incident while revisiting the place where they had first encountered their ‘booking hero’. The hosts were asked to share their side of the story but they had no idea that at the end, their very memorable guests would pay them a surprise visit. All three videos capture the emotions and raw happiness of both parties beautifully.

One story is about a family visiting Scotland to discover their roots but finding themselves lost until their B&B owner decides to help them in tracking down their ancestral home. The other is about a beautiful bride in New York who finds herself without any help on her wedding shoot day but the hotel’s receptionist decides to give it her all to make the bride feel special. Last but not the least and possibly the most touching is the story about a pregnant host in Sri Lanka who, despite being a few days away from labor, decides to open her house to an injured couple and help them with sincerity. The grand prize winners (Karen from Scotland) got €25000 Booking.com credits in their accounts whereas the next two top entries (Sudarshi from Sri Lanka and Alina from NYC) got €5000 credits in their accounts.

The films are honest and real, with narration from all the characters describing their journeys. They are shot to capture the amazing landscapes of the respective countries and also highlight the Booking.com ratings that each host or hotel has achieved. It ends with the sweet message of how our journeys are made memorable with the efforts of each person – from the chauffer to the hotel manager- who make it their aim to provide us assistance and comfort. This campaign surely is a beautiful journey the world needs to see.

FCB Chicago today launched a new video for Glad titled “Torture Tests” –…

FCB Chicago today launched a new video for Glad titled “Torture Tests” – the latest element in the agency’s “What’s Your Story” campaign – to promote one of Glad’s newest, toughest products: the ForceFlex Plus Advanced Protection trash bag. To highlight the features of its “toughest trash bag ever,” the video illustrates the bag’s ability to withstand wear and tear by linking it to a common and relatable situation in which “bags” – of another type – undergo “torture:” airline travel luggage.

Tried and tested at different airports across the country, the Glad ForceFlex Plus Advanced Protection trash bag emerges unscathed through each phase of the airline luggage inspection, handling and travel process. The takeaway? If Glad ForceFlex Advanced Protection can handle this type of test, it can handle one’s everyday kitchen trash.

FCB Milan’s new campaign, “Moms Don’t Quit,” for Corriere Della Sera, wonders what if women had to quit their jobs as moms in order to work? In Italy, many employers force newly hired women to sign blank resignation letters to be used in case of pregnancy. “Moms Don’t Quit” seeks to create a new model of working motherhood in which the two are no longer mutually exclusive.

It’s a letter that shows the only alternative that moms have, but they would never choose.
A letter written to ask everyone for help.
Help to prevent millions of other women from writing a letter like this.
Because moms have the right to work and they can do it as anyone else.

Adidas Runners launches a digital film #ItsOnYou on running for non-runners. Adidas Runners…

Adidas Runners launches a digital film #ItsOnYou on running for non-runners.

Adidas Runners is a global community – that brings people together in pursuit of their own running goals. Be it social running, or breaking their own bests, adidas Runners provides quality inputs through experts, curated running sessions and cross-training workouts to help all runners get to where they want to be.

Isobar, the digital agency from Dentsu Aegis Network that handles the digital solutions for adidas, has recently launched a digital campaign – #ItsOnYou.

The core objective is to expand the brand’s community of runners, especially women non-runners. While most brands are striving to garner new audience through strong communication, which is driven by motivation and persuasion; adidas came up with a digital film with a counter-intuitive concept. Instead of giving reasons to women to run, the brand rode on the belief that no one can make someone run, unless they want to.

The goal of the film was to make women realise that no external motivation can drive them, nor can any excuse hold them back. Every reason one gives to go for a run, and every excuse one gives to skip a run, there’s something above them all – they themselves. To back this philosophy, the #ItsOnYou communication was crafted.

On the launch of the new campaign, #ItsOnYou, Sunil Gupta, BU – Head, adidas Running said, “#ItsOnYou is a thought that echoes an urban dilemma – the clash between the excuse and the tiny voice within, that knows the hollowness of the excuse. Of the fact that if we’re to achieve something for ourselves, everything to make it happen – is ultimately, within’. Through the film, we set out to showcase some of the thoughts people might have at the ‘moment of truth’ – that metaphorical wake-up call which may spur is into action or lull is into accepting another excuse. Through real people and their very real stories, we hope the message reaches women across strata, geographies and professions – that their run, their energy is in their own hands. The team at Isobar captured this thought beautifully.”

Anish Varghese, National Creative Director, Isobar India said, “In today’s busy lifestyle, it’s getting easier for people to find excuses – whether it’s to run or not to run. This is an attempt to make people realize that no matter what excuse you choose, nothing in the world can make you run. There will be many things which will pull you back, but in the end the onus is on you to get up and go for that run.”

A clickbait campaign “Sound changes everything” by Bekol designed to test the hearing of the video-muting Facebook generation.

We’ve all fallen prey to clickbait. Those small innocuous looking posts in our Facebook feeds with ‘interesting’ headlines created to combat banner blindness. Posts most of us cannot resist clicking which usually lead to a double digit lift in click through rates.

With that in mind, we decided to put this knowledge into practice for ‘Bekol’, Israel’s Organization for the Hard of Hearing, and get people to take a hearing test in spite of their reluctance to do so.

Appealing to the 85 percent of Facebook users who usually view videos with the sound off, we dared them to click on our post. Those who clicked were surprised to discover a video with a soundtrack that did not quite match the cute picture portrayed. A soundtrack which once added, presented in fact a whole new and creepy narrative. Viewers who still thought our campaign video was cute, fun or even romantic were invited to get their hearing tested by Bekol.

Smirnoff We are Open for creating a more inclusive world In line with…

Smirnoff We are Open for creating a more inclusive world

In line with the purpose of the global brand, to create a more inclusive world, and coupled with the behavior of the target (21+ Millennials), which naturally tends to see life without prejudices. With “We are open” Smirnoff conveys and celebrates this message of diversity inclusion.

“This gives rise to “Everyone’s Party,” a party in which everyone feels welcomed, regardless of sexual orientation and belief. The campaign is based on the stories of “Naafi”, “Uchi” and “Yolanda”, focusing on inclusion, diversity and acceptance,” comments Ignacio Liaudat, CEO of Circus, and Dauquen Chabeldin, ECD of the agency.

“We are very excited about the performance of the campaign. Mexico needed an execution with cultural relevance, so we decided to adapt the global territory to local insights,” said Oscar Pachano, Head of Smirnoff Mexico.

The story behind each spot highlights the purpose of the brand to create a more inclusive world

Watch these Inspiring Films

NAAFI: Music has no boundaries: In this case, Smirnoff celebrates the power of inclusion through music, because the world is full of boundaries and barriers that limit us and prevent us from being who we really are. Rhythms and melodies tear down these walls by mixing and uniting communities. NAAFI is one of the most important Mexican groups. Its founders, Alberto Bustamante and Tomas Davó, created this movement in order to include people through music, since their mixes include all kinds of genres.

“UCHI” LUCÍA ANAYA: Women rock. With this spot, Smirnoff supports women who want to achieve important things in the field of music and production, which is a world dominated by men. Talent should be recognized regardless of anyone’s sex. Lucia Anaya “Uchi” is a producer and founder of DERRÉ-TIDA, a large event production house in Mexico. She is a co-founder of movements such as Traición and RUIDOSSSA, an annual congress that promotes female talent in music, dance and production. Her speech on gender equality permeates every project she works on.

YOLANDA, Smirnoff tells us: It’s okay to be different, get on board (LGBT). Everyone is invited to the party because diversity is all around us and it’s a cause of celebration. Therefore, you must be who you are. It’s normal to be different. Yolanda has changed the drag performance scene in Mexico. She is known for expressing the idea that beauty can be found in ugliness and authenticity. Yolanda is profound and at the same time very amusing, she invites us to reflect on the stereotypes that exist in society in a striking and energetically new way. Her disruptive look is part of her inclusive discourse.
