We placed digital billboards in dog-friendly areas with high foot traffic. Pheromones were released from the billboard to attract dogs and invite them to pee on it. The urine was collected and directed to a sterile environment to be analyzed in 30 seconds. The billboard then displayed the results.</p>

<p>If potential signs of diabetes, kidney failure, urinary infection, or dietary imbalance were detected, Purina Street Vet suggested an appropriate Purina ProPlan product and encouraged owners to download the results, which could be brought to a veterinarian. Dogs just had to listen to their natural urges and let our unique billboard do its thing. Thanks to Purina Street Vet, monitoring a dog&#8217;s health is as easy as walking in the park.</p>

<p>The Welfare of Stray Dogs(WSD) has been carrying out mass sterilization programmes for street dogs since 1994, following WHO recommendations on rabies eradication and dog population control. It also conducts on-site first aid and vaccinations, and programmes on education and awareness and pariahs (Indies) for adoption.</p>
<p>WSD pioneered adoptions of Indies in 1995 and was also the first organisation in Mumbai to have adoptathons for getting Indies adopted.</p>

<p>For Cesar’s festive campaign, we produced a Doggy Design Studio that let dogs fashion their own series of holiday jumpers. The studio comprises a five-part agility course that converts woofs, walks and tail wags into colours, prints and patterns. In addition to the film and the making-of, we also designed and developed the studio, using the natural behaviours of dogs to give all pooches the power to make their mark. The best doggy-designs were manufactured into matching sweater sets for dogs and their parents to win in a global competition. Try finding a holiday jumper more (heart)warming than this.</p>

The Brazilian pet retailer Petz has come up with a solution by way of Pet-Commerce, a site that can help pet owners understand at least the shopping needs of their beloved dogs. </p>

<p>But how does it work? Well, the first step is to visit the Petz e-commerce website and click on the Pet-Commerce section. This will pull up a section of product categories. Now, clicking on the options from toys to bones will open up videos featuring different items. As the dog would watch the product video, the shopper’s webcam will read its reactions to interpret whether it likes the product or not. If the pup responds positively to a product, the site will automatically place that item in the shopping cart. We think it can prove to be a good way of getting our furry friends what they like and bond with them better over shopping. </p>

But, not a lot of holiday-themed advertisements take the perception of dogs into account. Well, in a fitting display of creativity, Pedigree has dedicated its entire Christmas campaign to the holidays&#8217; significance for dogs. The short film titled Pedigree Season of Good Dog takes viewers through a dog’s unique viewpoint on the Christmas season.</p>
<p>In the short film designed by Colenso BBDO, a humorous account on the holidays is presented by the Good Dog. The narrative begins many dinnertimes ago, with the arrival of Good Dog to a human family’s home on one Christmas night. The story spans across several holidays until the arrival of another dog dubbed as Awww. The comedic tale ends with the conclusion that the holiday season is not exclusive to a good dog, but a time of celebration for all good dogs.</p>
<p>We feel that this campaign makes judicious use of humour, and carries the brand’s core identity in a likeable fashion. It is definitely bound to be a holiday-themed campaign that will stand out in this season.</p>

With the eyes giving up, a visually impaired person has to depend more on the people around him. Well, the same goes for animals as well. However, they don’t get similar recognition to their predicament as humans. Pedigree has started a new platform called Human Guides with the agenda of educating us in a necessary discipline.</p>
<p>As portrayed in the digital promo developed by BBDO, Brazil, it is common for visually impaired humans to count of guide dogs. Tragically so, it is also common for people to abandon their dogs when they start going blind. Pedigree Human Guides is an educational platform that teaches us how to take care of our dogs that go blind. As part of the campaign, Pedigree even handed out illustrated handbooks to stores and pet shops. The educational material can also be downloaded from www.humanguides.com</p>
<p>We feel that this campaign is a brilliant initiative that enables us to give back to dogs. It is something that needs to be shared as much as possible! </p>

Animals Matter To Me, an animal NGO committed to the welfare of all types of animals collaborated with Tonic Worldwide to enable a solution for the same. We launched the campaign #TurnOnTheWoofer which introduces specially composed therapeutic music for dogs. The campaign is also supported by Sony Mix and aims at providing dogs a musical relief this festive season. Renowned Musician, Siddharth Basrur, has composed the music after weeks of research and trial with special low-level beats and rhythm that has a soothing effect on Dogs.</p>

<p> “Diwali is the most difficult time of the year for dogs and especially strays. I have seen them getting anxiety attacks and palpitations. They turn very restless and have no other option than to just bear the mental torture. It often takes weeks for them to come out of this trauma. So when this idea came up, I was elated to bring about some solution to help them. We played this music with over 150 dogs in our facility and it seemed to have a calming effect on most of them. Even some of the most hyperactive dogs became calm after listening to the music. We’ve started playing the music every day in our rehab center and it has shown us great results.” Said Ganesh Nayak, founder of ‘Animals Matter To Me’ </p>

<p>Filmed along South Africa’s ridiculously beautiful Wild Coast, it’s the story of a man’s journey to find himself &#8211; with his Staffie.</p>
<p>“It feels like a lifetime ago we were hiking 20kms carrying gear, shoulder deep in water, chomping down on strawberry whirls and Camilla’s delicious evening meals,” laughs Jason. He thanks everyone who made the job such a success, especially lead actor Chris Fisher; Mortimer Harvey’s Christopher Potter and Karolin Steenkamp; RCL Foods&#8217; Aamina Shaik and Geran Moodliar; and Benson the Staffie, who Jason says deserves “a gigantic shout out and head rub.”</p>
