‘Independence’ is perceived in many different ways by every individual. This Independence Day, SBI Life Insurance, one of the most trusted private life insurers in the country, paid tribute to the uncompromising spirit of the Indian para-swimmer, Suyash Jadhav, who has overcome odds and won laurels for India.

Within the SBI Life ‘Real Life Real Stories’ digital video series, the recent story of Suyash Jadhav highlights his pursuit of pushing himself out of his comfort zone, every single day. For him, freedom means to test his capability and to be the best version of himself. At 11, he lost his upper limbs in an electrocution accident yet that did not stop him from winning a gold for the country at the 2018 Asian Para Games.

A year back, SBI Life Insurance, took this unconventional route of showcasing inspirational real life stories of common, yet incredible people to encourage and inspire every Indian.
