Women are rising to positions of authority at a rate hitherto unseen. However, despite such positive changes, certain evils still face our world. Breast Cancer is undeniably one of them. An astounding study states that the mortality rate of Indian women suffering from Breast Cancer is double the rate in the west. This statistical divide is a consequence of the late detection of this disease in India. The lack of information concerning the self-detection of breast cancer is a big problem plaguing the country’s women. However, SBI Life Insurance and WATConsult recently came up with an initiative called Thanks a Dot that acted as a bright ray of sunshine for women all around the country.

In the promotional video for the initiative, the inner workings of the campaign were exhibited in their full glory. By combining the unique disciplines of Braille and Mammography, SBI Life Insurance created a puzzle-based tactical tool for the self-detection of Cancer. To make women aware of the existence of this tool, outreach workshops were conducted in rural as well as urban areas throughout India. Thanks a Dot also received support and acknowledgment from the Women’s Cancer Initiative of the Tata Memorial Hospital. The Vice-President of the hospital also starred in the promotional video of the campaign. Moreover, prominent names like Yuvraj Singh, Mary Kom, Brett Lee, and Dr. Ashok Chaudhary came in support of the initiative. The media coverage of the tool further expanded its impact.

To commemorate SBI Life’s numerous achievements last year, WATConsult, India’s leading and most awarded digital and social media agency, created an innovative throwback video. It showcases SBI Life’s phenomenal success in the past year by employing bar waves graphics that are superimposed with visuals as opposed to flat colours. The visuals take the form of audio waves, which unfold as upbeat, vibrant music plays. The high notes of the music produce an inspirational quality.
