Many schools continuously fear running out of funds, so was the case with…

Many schools continuously fear running out of funds, so was the case with Toronto’s Regent park school of music. RPSM brought the advertising agency BBDO onboard to help RPSM out of this situation and help them find a way to arrange sustainable funds. To help solve this issue, grammy-winning music producer Frank Dukes came up with 14 talented RPSM students and produced, recorded, and documented a music library to fund the musical education at RPSM. This music album is called ‘Parkscapes.’

Every time an artist uses a song from the Parkscapes album, all the licensing fees, royalties, and residuals will be paid directly to the RPSM to fund musical education.

Frank reached out to Taylor Swift with the samples, and she instantly loved the music and the noble cause behind it. Taylor swift’s song, It’s nice to have a friend uses a composition from the Parkscapes album.

This turned out to be a great way to fund musical education at RPSM. This also gives the power of self-sufficiency to the school, instead of dwelling on free donations.

America has a tragic history of gun violence. But sadly, we’ve yet to…

America has a tragic history of gun violence. But sadly, we’ve yet to learn the lessons of the past. Introducing The Gun Violence History Book. A powerful symbol and an education tool. Made from over 200 years of gun violence. This book has done what history has been unable to do: Stop a bullet.

Every day a new page of gun violence history is written. And it’s not stopping.

The Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence — an organization committed to fighting the gun violence issue on a state and federal level — created The Gun Violence History Book. Made out of articles, facts, and data showcasing a tragic and deadly history that repeats itself.

The book features 19 milestones to help you better understand gun violence, and how common-sense gun regulations, such as universal background checks, will help it.

But more than it being a sad uncovering of our past, this book acts as a lesson for the future – for Americans young and old who still believe there is a way for us to close the book on America’s gun violence history.

Notpla is literally Not Plastic. But, it serves the same purpose as plastic,…

Notpla is literally Not Plastic. But, it serves the same purpose as plastic, except that it is edible, so it’s kinda genius. Plastics taking over our oceans is no joke, but Notpla is helping to alleviate this mess with their edible water “bottles,” edible juices, edible cocktails, edible shots, and edible sauce packets, all thanks to brilliant minds, science, and seaweed.

<img decoding="async" src="https://campaignsoftheworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Notpla.jpeg" alt="Notpla" width="2000" height="1300" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-19955" title="Notpla: Packaging that disappears.
Edible and biodegradable. The alternative to plastic.

Ooho is a flexible packaging for beverages and sauces. It’s made from Notpla, our material combining seaweed and plants. Ooho biodegrades in 4-6 weeks, or you can just eat it, making it ideal for on the go consumption.

The Moldy Whopper by Burger King
The beauty of real food is that it gets ugly. that’s why we are rolling out a WHOPPER® that is free from artificial preservatives. isn’t it beautiful? #NoArtificialPreservatives

Over the last three years, Burger King has removed 8,500 tons of artificial preservatives from its food globally. To tell the world, and hopefully send an important message to the fast-food industry, INGO Stockholm, DAVID Miami and Publicis Bucharest broke the mold with something unpredictable: mold. “Moldy Whopper” featured the iconic Whopper rotting through a period of 35 days. A simple and clear message to the industry, showing that their food has no preservatives. It might’ve gone against every convention, but it showed that mold could be a beautiful thing too.

Five more humorous spots from Lanfranco & Cordova, NY and Lima, Peru, have…

Five more humorous spots from Lanfranco & Cordova, NY and Lima, Peru, have been released to promote The One Show 2020 call for entries, deadline January 31, 2020, Change your destiny.

Playing off the idea that a little bit of luck can help a piece of creative work stand out from all the great competition, Lanfranco & Cordova traveled to the Peruvian Andes to enlist the mystical services of Cleofe, an actual shaman who blesses entries. The first spot of the entertaining “Change Your Destiny” campaign launched in September 2019.

In the new :30 spots, the agency takes us behind the scenes to watch Cleofe blessing creative work that has actually been submitted to this year’s One Show:

“8000km Runway” by Goodzilla/Shanghai for Jack Jones

“Dietz Nuts” by Red Tettemer O’Connell + Partners for Dietz and Watson

“Stop At Nothing” by Widen+Kennedy London for Nike

“Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Party Challenge – Titanic” by VH1

Virtual Blessing

“Winning a One Show Pencil is both a great honor and extremely difficult,” said Rolando Cordova, CCO, co-founder, Lanfranco & Cordova, NY and Lima. “We decided to offer agencies and brands some help this year by working with an actual Peruvian shaman to star in the campaign and give positive energy to all the work entered in the show.”

According to the agency, the campaign concept has some roots in reality. The co-founders said they know some creative colleagues who go to various lengths to give their work good luck before entering it in awards shows for judging.

“We partnered with local production company Señor Z in Lima and traveled to the remote Peruvian Andes to find Cleofe, who practices ancient blessing rituals,” said Gian Carlo Lanfranco, L&C CCO, co-founder. “He was great to work with, and serves as the centerpiece of these fun content films.”

“The beauty of the idea is that it’s simple and entertaining,” said Kevin Swanepoel, CEO, The One Club for Creativity. “The One Show exists to elevate and celebrate the best work in the world. With so much amazing creative work entered each year, a little bit of extra luck could make the difference in an entry breaking through with our judges.”
