Irrespective of our nationality or religion, we’re all human beings at the end…

Irrespective of our nationality or religion, we’re all human beings at the end of the day. However, the separations inherent to this world often defeat said oneness. Even with families living across the globe, we can’t always meet our loved ones. With visa rejection doubling in the US alone since 2016, the situation has only worsened. Thankfully, a campaign by Virgin Atlantic Airlines and Martini addresses this problem head-on. It even presents a solution. Titled AirTime, it aims to reconnect loved ones separated by physical borders. To achieve its outcome, Air Time will facilitate passport-free international travel. How exactly? By chartering private planes to travel across the globe. Thanks to Air Time, a lucky few will get a chance to meet their friends and family. The campaign is pretty ambitious and seems to have its heart in the right place.

All in all, we feel that AirTime gives us a unique lens to reevaluate global differences. Ultimately, it advocates for love being the supreme emotion.

The safest place on a Finnish bus is now next to a fluffy…

The safest place on a Finnish bus is now next to a fluffy stranger. Finland has officially reached the second wave of the pandemic, and new strict restrictions have been set in place. This is why local Prisma hypermarkets owned by HOK-Elanto, the biggest retailer in the region, wanted to remind people that social distancing is now more crucial than ever. They placed giant plushies that share the message of social distancing to buses and a public transport ferry boat. With Christmas spirit in mind, the plushies double as creative ads for a charity donation.

“We wanted to surprise people with a little joy in very dark times and fill bus seats with giant plushies. The idea was to let the giant plushies share the important message of social distancing: Now that it’s not safe for you humans to sit next to each other, you can sit next to me. In addition to sharing the important message, the plushies double as ads that guide people to donate to charity”, says Creative Director Joni Furstenborg from TBWA Helsinki.

Bolt Save your ears In Ukraine, there are a lot of traffic accidents.…

Bolt Save your ears

In Ukraine, there are a lot of traffic accidents. Around 30 thousand people get injured, and more than 3 thousand die every year. Hundreds of dead could have been saved if they used seatbelts. Transportation platform Bolt, BBDO Ukraine and DGTL RLGN production studio launched a campaign to make people fasten seatbelts. For this project, they created a song that people can’t stand. This annoying song was playing very loud in the car until all passengers fastened their seatbelts.

“In modern conditions, we have to hurry up to be in time. However, haste, carelessness and an unfastened seat belt can be costly on the road. We have always taken care of the safety of all road users. We are very pleased that the BBDO team shares our values, so we are happy to join the project, ”says Bolt Regional Manager Taras Potichny.

“Usually social advertising tries to scare us. And of course it doesn’t work. It is difficult for us to try on a terrible situation: “This will never happen to me. I don’t even want to think about it.” And something funny and unusual, on the contrary, is remembered by itself. I would like to talk about this later. I was looking for the aspect that the passenger will definitely pay attention to during the trip. Which can change his behavior. Music, ”says Dima Kishka, author of the creative idea of Creative Group Head BBDO Ukraine.

IRCTC Storyrail – One destination, countless journeys Problem: In India, people see train…

IRCTC Storyrail – One destination, countless journeys

Problem:
In India, people see train journeys as a thing of the past. They didn’t think of as a favourable mode of transport.

Insight:
Trains in India have been running for over 125 years. Every single train encapsulates a lot of untold stories.

Idea:
They converted trains into time machines. Passengers could scan different parts of the train to unearth stories.

Airbnb has dominated the hotel industry, but the Honduras Maya Hotel decided to fight back. We turned the hotel’s rooms into chic apartments, just like the ones people would book on Airbnb. And we turned every hotel employee into a host, putting their rooms up for rent on the service. Guests might have been confused upon arrival, but they soon saw that they got everything they signed up for—and much more.

The Seminar Hotel Hof de Planis is located at 1280 meters in the…

The Seminar Hotel Hof de Planis is located at 1280 meters in the middle of the Swiss mountains. It offers generously designed rooms, a professional seminar infrastructure and most important: Enough distance from the daily hustle and bustle. This setting provides ideal conditions for successful business seminars, conferences and workshops. The campaign was intended to draw the attention of entrepreneurs and managers.

Countless presentations take place daily in the business world. The most popular program for this is Microsoft PowerPoint. That’s why we designed the Swiss mountain landscape around the hotel with typical PowerPoint graphic elements. The target group was invited surprisingly: Plan your business seminars in the Swiss mountains.

Entrepreneurs and managers love to use arrows, curves, tables and all kinds of diagrams in their PowerPoint presentations: pie diagrams, line diagrams, bar diagrams, etc.

From the most popular PowerPoint elements, we created a whole new world: arrows turned into trees or alpine huts, curves into mountain panoramas, tables into fences and signposts, various diagrams into bales of hay, lakes, clouds and the sun.

This is how the Swiss mountain world around the seminar hotel was designed. A separate theme was created for each season: One for spring/summer, one for autumn and one for winter.

The campaign was launched in Switzerland on 1 February 2019 with targeted posters at and around business fairs. It quickly attracted the attention of the target group because it surprisingly used a tool from its everyday life in a new way.

First figures have shown an increase of + 97 % of visits to the hotel website and + 32 % more reservation requests for business seminars. (Compared to the same period in 2018.)

Interactive Marketing Campaigns is now an important part of the online marketing strategies…

Interactive Marketing Campaigns is now an important part of the online marketing strategies of different brands and businesses. Interactive Marketing is slowly becoming the norm for many advertisers. It’s very much a part of all strategy decks in the snazzy advertising world. It has become a tool for advertisers of the modern age to turn the attention of people to their campaigns and snigger at competitors, in-your-face.

There are many companies using the latest technology news and trends to design brilliant interactive marketing campaigns. Also, Interactive Marketing is a nice way to catch people’s attention without boring them or causing intrusion. Consumers of today are smartest than ever. They want advertising to be fun, like an activity that would give them a good break from their daily chores. And interactive marketing is a good way to have customers embrace a positive mindset and mood. How do you do it? By doing something unique and creative and out-of-the-box that they can’t get enough of. It has high potential to actually make customers buy your product by luring them to participate in your interactive marketing campaign. Having said that, humour and delight are the two most important features of a good interactive marketing campaign.

It’s because humour causes people to turn their mood. It can turn your frown into a smile. It affects you positively and makes you forget your woes and enjoy the moment. Delight gives people a reason to share the new knowledge (through the interactive marketing campaign) or experience acquired with their friends on social media or through a quick chat. It adds flavour to daily conversations of people, thus making them laugh more. And it can get viral! It’s something that a brand loves when its campaign gets humongous attention on social media platforms and stirs conversation all around.

Now, let’s have a look at 10 brilliant interactive marketing campaigns to get you inspired!

Zappos – Pay With A Cupcake

#PayWithACupcake was a simple, low-budget stunt done in Austin, Texas with the goal to heap as much attention as possible onto the Zappos.com brand by bringing to life their commitment to always delivering happiness.

“We heard that Google was going to be taking over a food truck in Austin, Texas to promote their new photo app
by giving out free cupcakes to people who used their hashtag #PayWithAPhoto, and we decided to upstaged their event. We immediately flew to Texas, put a #PayWithACupcake box right next to their truck, and in exchange for those Google cupcakes, we gave people exciting items from Zappos.com”

SNCF – Europe. It’s Just Next Door”

Polar Cell Phone Nullifier

There’s nothing more annoying than going to a bar with your friends and watching as they can’t take their eyes off their smartphones. This is why Polar beer, a beverage best enjoyed ice-cold and only sold exclusively in a single Brazilian state, created the definitive solution to this worldwide problem. The Polar Cell Phone Nullifier. A cooler that blocks 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi and GSM signals to any device within a 1.5-meter radius.

When people ordered a bottle of Polar, the waiter would bring it inside the Nullifier and explain the idea. That way, everybody at the table was directly impacted in a fun and surprising way. And once again, they would be able to interact more with their friends and less with gadgets.

Always #LikeAGirl

Join Always in our epic battle to keep girls’ confidence high during puberty and beyond. Using #LikeAGirl as an insult is a hard knock against any adolescent girl. And since the rest of puberty’s really no picnic either, it’s easy to see what a huge impact it can have on a girl’s self-confidence. Making a start by showing them that doing things #LikeAGirl is an awesome thing!

Google – Year In Search 2017

In 2017, the world asked, “how.” Questions like how to join the military, how to run for office, how to make a protest sign, how to be a good parent, and how to be a firefighter were asked more than ever before. Explore the moments that shaped the year at http://google.com/2017 #YearInSearch

Old Spice – The Man Your Man Could Smell Like

“We’re not saying this body wash will make your man smell like a romantic millionaire jet fighter pilot, but we are insinuating it.”

P&G – Thank You, Mom

P&G “Thank you Mom” campaign features supportive mothers helping their children persevere through difficult circumstances on their way to becoming successful Olympic athletes. “It takes someone strong to make someone strong. Thank you, Mom.”

Victory Day is one of the most important days for Russian people. We name entire cities after Second World War heroes their acts of bravery are studied at school, but this year S7 decided to give a chance to every family in the country to celebrate their hero because every family has its own story. So we made a website connected to the national veteran’s archive everybody could find his hero and name one of the S7 flight after him. The info was given to the flight attendant of the flight and the story was told in the sky. 2050 flights were named in 24 hours with 0 media budget.
