Ahead of Women’s Equality Day on Aug. 26, which will mark the 99th anniversary of women’s suffrage in the United States, HBO commissioned a series of paintings featuring four women from HBO shows. Each shines a light on women’s struggles for equal pay, representation and agency.

It’s no secret that New York City isn’t always a comfortable place. Look…

It’s no secret that New York City isn’t always a comfortable place. Look no further than some NYC apartments: they’re small, they’re noisy, and they’re often packed with roommates. But New Yorkers wear their discomfort like a badge of honor. Delta Air Lines, the city’s largest airline, is launching a campaign(NYC Docuseries) to show that it understands the discomforts of life in New York and is committed to making time in the air a little more comfortable. In partnership with W+K New York, Delta’s launching a new mini-docuseries, “Small Stories,” featuring real New Yorkers who live in tight or awkward spaces (in one case, even a boat) while simultaneously highlighting the ways Delta continues to improve the in-flight experience out of NYC. With more new planes, more aircraft with seatback screens, and more First Class seats out of NYC than any other airline, Delta reminds us that while New York isn’t always comfortable, flying in and out of it can be.

The films were created specifically for mobile, embracing the tight quarters of the phone the same way New Yorkers embrace the tight quarters of their apartments. Telling an entire story within a vertical format was the goal for Delta and WKNY, as they could meet New Yorkers where they always are: on their phones.

Delta’s comfort campaign continues this fall with an experiential pop-up in New York that will demonstrate that NYC’s #1 airline is investing in and dramatically improving the comfort of its on-board experience for New York travelers.

Watch KFC Big Chicken Small Movie by Wieden+Kennedy. It’s the best movie about a 56-ft steel chicken attached to a KFC that will come out this year.

The new animated short film, Big Chicken Small Movie, is designed to celebrate the Georgia town and its giant steel chicken. From the beginning, the intention was to make the short film as Atlanta-focused as possible. Awesome Inc, is an Atlanta-based studio known for both its series and commercial work. The project debuted on Sunday, August 6th, which was National Friendship Day.

Anthony Gianino, KFC franchisee owner and VP of marketing for KBP Foods, the film marks the culmination of an exciting project. The beloved “Big Chicken” KFC restaurant reopened to the public May 11 following a $2.2 million renovation.

“I think every Atlantan has a tender spot for that giant bird, so it was an honor to try to do it proud. Also, I’m excited to show all my friends from high school that I made it to the top–even if it’s just the top of the Big Chicken,” said W+K copywriter Mike Egan, who was born and raised in Atlanta.
