The World’s To-Do List – A big reminder of what we need achieve
The world has some big problems.
The climate crisis. Gender inequality. Human rights abuses. Extreme poverty. Problems of this scale can be overwhelming. That’s why we need a plan to tackle them, and that’s exactly what we’ve got. The Global Goals are The World’s To-Do List.
The World’s To-Do List – As world leaders meet at the United Nations this week, this film serves as a big reminder of what we need to do to achieve the #GlobalGoals
From 20-26 September, a group of the world’s biggest companies and brands will be launching a major awareness campaign, led by Project Everyone, to show their support for and action towards achieving the 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development – a plan adopted by all UN member states in 2015 to end poverty, conquer inequality and tackle the climate crisis by 2030. The activation is part of Global Goals Week – an annual event to mark the anniversary of the Global Goals during the UN General Assembly.
The World’s To-Do List is associated with Goal 1 – No Poverty, Goal 2 – Zero Hunger, Goal 3 – Good Health and Well-being, Goal 4 – Quality Education, Goal 5 – Gender Equality, Goal 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation, Goal 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy, Goal 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, Goal 9 – Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, Goal 10 – Reduced Inequalities, Goal 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities, Goal 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production, Goal 13 – Climate Action, Goal 14 – Life Below Water, Goal 15 – Life on Land, Goal 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions and Goal 17 – Partnerships for the Goals.
