Amazon Holidays 2018 – Can You Feel It | A Musical homage to the approaching holiday season
Holiday-themed campaigns are known to be composed of over-the-top cheer and cartoonish themes. Amazon’s celebration for this year is no different. A campaign called Amazon Holidays 2018 – Can You Feel It expressed the brand’s excitement for the festivities via a song sung by animated Amazon boxes.
The agency responsible for the ideation as well as the creation of the campaign is Lucky Generals from London, UK. The short ad-film features Amazon boxes singing the festive song for different people in different places. The boxes seem to be singing for those who exhibit the festive cheer. The musical campaign features a cover version of the song Can You Feel it. Adelphoi Music sung the cover version for the ad-film. The iconic song from 1981 does justice to the concept of the campaign and captures the joyful vibe perfect for the nearing Christmas season.
We feel that the campaign is well-presented, pleasant to the ears and eyes, and sufficiently creative. The incorporation of singing Amazon boxes further enriches the brand’s vision behind the advertisement.
