Durex Sexth Sense – Introducing the only sense essential to lovemaking
A flawless human being is as real as a dragon or a unicorn. We’re all imperfect in one way or another. But, imperfections don’t prohibit a person from enjoying sex. Instead, they further elevate the intimacy inherent to the experience. However, society treats some imperfections as more fatal than others. Consequently, 100 million+ sensory disabled people live a life filled with constant misrepresentation. A recent campaign by Durex brings this reality out of the shadows. Titled Durex Sexth Sense, the campaign questions the assumption that sensory disabled people are unfit for sex.
In fact, the initiative goes above and beyond to prove that sex is equally enjoyable for “normal” as well as sensory disabled people. To do so, the campaign empirically proves that neither of the five senses is essential to find pleasure in sex. Ultimately, Sexth Sense proves that sex is a sensory experience of its own.
Needless to say, we love this campaign in all its glory. After all, it is about damn time that the world drops its prejudiced view of sensory disabled individuals.
