Pepsi & Burger King presents Grilled Barcode Pepsi and Burger King were together…

Pepsi & Burger King presents Grilled Barcode

Pepsi and Burger King were together again for launching their new campaign with Sancho BBDO as their ally agency. These brands reminded all Colombians that a grilled burger is better by using the similarity between barcode and grills and creating a filter that turned Pepsi’s barcode into grills.

After using the filter on the bottles, people got coupons to be redeemed at Burger King restaurants. The Grilled Barcode campaign had a spot where people could see the fire getting out from the bar codes while grilling delicious meat. Additionally, the campaign was launched through digital media with different ads explaining the idea and inviting people to grill their meat with Pepsi. The campaign also had the support of influencers who invited their followers to try this filter for getting the burger.

Pepsi and Burger King highlighted their attributes, joined the On and Off worlds, and made people interact with their products with this simple but direct idea.

Everybody has already forgotten something behind them after sharing a delicious meal in…

Everybody has already forgotten something behind them after sharing a delicious meal in a restaurant. Usually, it’s no big deal, and you have to go back the next day. But this time, we had to wait for seven months. Can you imagine? All these cold toys, orphan books, and lost keys that are waiting for their owners since then. Fortunately, BURGER KING® Belgium is finally reopening.

This time, they won’t celebrate this event with a picture of a delicious burger. Instead, BURGER KING® chose to make a touching ad. It’s time to reunite with your keys, toys, socks (and even more)! You probably can’t wait to see them again, well BURGER KING® also can’t wait to see you again. So book your June 9 to go to BURGER KING® to reunite with your lost items, and as a bonus, you will have the pleasure of tasting a delicious burger.

Burger King – Lockdown Whopper® Salivating at the thought of a savoury meal…

Burger King – Lockdown Whopper®

Salivating at the thought of a savoury meal is a pretty common experience. In a series of recent video campaigns, Burger King addressed this unique temptation.

The video ads showcased censored images of Burger King’s famous delicacies. With the intent to brace customers before restaurants reopen for delivery, the ads used a mix of typography and visuals. The former conveyed that censorship exists to help customers reduce their cravings. However, the visuals, as well as the tone of the ads, told a completely different story. Saatchi and Saatchi (the advertising brain behind the campaigns) seems to be well aware of this.

Nonetheless, the ads don’t come off as insincere given the current shape of the world. Instead, they bring in a much-needed wave of humour that disarms the sullenness in the atmosphere.

In light of the Coronavirus crisis, the casual tone of the ads may strike an unwanted chord with some customers. However, at the same time, the ads also exhibit an adroit display of humour. Simply put, they perfectly capture the brand’s personality.

Burger King’s Burn That Ad Digital Campaign Created by agency David Sao Paulo, the project lets users of the Burger King app scan ads or digital content from other major burger chains. The app user sees the competitor ad burn away, revealing a coupon for a free Whopper.

Burger King’s app lets you “burn” rival ads in exchange for a free Whopper

“Technology as a means to provide the best customer experience is one of our main investment targets in 2019,” Ariel Grunkraut, Burger King’s marketing and sales director for Brazil. “To create the BK Express experience, our exclusive payment technology via mobile phone available all around Brazil, we offer some fun interaction in augmented reality for our brand’s lovers through the app. And those using the service also gets a free Whopper.

The brand says about 500,000 Whoppers are expected to be given away across Brazil through the promotion. The app limits the offer to one per customer.

“Augmented reality is a fascinating tool. And when combined with a little pyrotechnics, is even better,” says Rafael Donato, vp and creative director at David Sao Paulo. “With ‘Burn That Ad,’ we hacked the competition by leveraging our biggest advantage, which is fire.”
