#FirangiOnGoogleMaps – An innovation ahead of Diwali for a big bang release of Thugs of Hindostan
You must be using Google Maps to take directions towards your destination and figure out which route would be the best one to evade traffic. It’s kinda boring. Isn’t it? But what if your favourite actor guides you throughout your journey. Wouldn’t it be fun! Yes, the team of the upcoming film Thugs of Hindostan has partnered with Google Maps in India to bring Aamir Khan’s character, Firangi Mallah to life on Google Maps!(#FirangiOnGoogleMaps) He will be guiding commuters on their everyday journey.
This comes ahead of Diwali as an endeavour of the team at Thugs of Hindostan to make the living journeys of people entertaining. And what better way than to make the monotonous task of finding directions on Google Map a playful experience.
As a commuter, you will have an option to ride or drive through roads with Firangi Mallah. What makes it amusing is Aamir on his pet donkey from the film riding along with the commuters showing them directions. This feature will be activated on Google Maps for Android as well as IOS smartphone users. It’s indeed a one-of-a-kind digital innovation being done at the right time. Moreover, Firangi’s beguiling dialogue in the film – “Chalo bhaiyyaa, 1, 2, 3 quick march” is also embedded for an enhanced, enticing and exclusive user experience (also a strong brand recall strategy ahead of its release on 8th November 2018 for Thugs of Hindostan) while using the Google Maps app.
