Bodyform Womb Stories | A truly artistic expression of what it means to be a woman

The world we live in is still filled with gender-based hierarchies. Well, if you disagree with this claim, all you need to do is think deeper. Contemplate the secrecy and shame linked with bodily experiences that women go through. However, as Bob Dylan once said, times are changing. In a recent stroke of brilliance, a digital film by Bodyform advocated for the change we’re talking about. Tilted Womb Stories, the work of art pushed many boundaries. More or less, it presented a visual take on the physicality of being a woman.

The creative powerhouse, AMV BBDO, built the advertisement from scratch. Essentially, the creative agency juxtaposed animation with video to flesh out a narrative. However, the novelty of the campaign lies in its presentation. It beautifully, as well as realistically, portrayed what goes on inside a woman’s womb on a day-to-day basis. Moreover, the digital ad touched on sensitive topics like IVF treatment and miscarriage.

In essence, Womb Stories acknowledges the space that women occupy in this world. Thus, we admire it with all our heart!
